We are seeking an accomplished Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. Your role will be essential in steering our kitchen team towards delivering consistently delightful culinary experiences. As a detail-oriented and proactive individual, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the standards that Alfalfa is known for. This is an opportunity for you to be a part of a fast growing concept where you can flex into the role and help build out kitchen processes. This role has potential to develop into a General Manager role for the right candidate Responsibilities Lead and execute in a high-volume kitchen environment with efficiency and poise. Ensure adherence to recipes and proper food preparation techniques. Maintain an 'A' grade on CountyHealth Inspections, closely following the County's Food Safety Guidelines. Sequence and complete all orders (in-store & online) accurately and in line with Alfalfa's prep time standards. Enforce company food safety procedures and standards. Supervise and enforce proper clock-in/out procedures and breaks for all back of house employees in accordance with state and local regulations. Manage food preparation inventory, ensuring freshness and minimal waste. Conduct inventories, place accurate orders with vendors, receive and inspect orders according to our high-quality standards. Develop, motivate, and manage kitchen team members. Provide ongoing feedback, set expectations, and supervise day-to-day activities to ensure consistent delivery of Alfalfa offerings. Assume ultimate responsibility for smooth and efficient back of house operations, maintaining regular and effective communication with the Leadership Team. Requirements ServSafe Manager Certification Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. Tasks may involve bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
